Picture time!

Nick and I had our family pictures taken with the Barker's by the wonderful Jeana Bird @ jeanabirdphotography-blog.com. Although this post is titled "Picture time" I do only have one picture to post. Ha! More to come soon.

Rise of the Evening Star

by Brandon Mull

Good book. This series is an easy read and meant for a younger audience. Still it is quite entertaining.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard

by J.K. Rowling

This book might be more enjoyable as a book on cd but it didn't really capture me making we want to read more. Probably would have finished the book if didn't need to take it back to the library. Now I probably won't ever finish it.

I wish that goodreads gave half star ratings because I would give this book a 3.5. What a tragic story. I can't imagine going through something like that.

I am always compelled by these type of books. This book captivated me throughout the whole story. Very interesting and good read. This man's will to live and struggles are amazing. What a journey.
